Welcome to The Academy website!

As your new Principal, I would like to welcome all students and parents to the 2007-2008 school year, a year that will truly be one of the most exciting and challenging that The Academy has ever experienced.

Reaffirming their commitments to all our students, our talented faculty are determined to provide, through their use of effective strategies and methods, through their own professional development and through appropriate applications of technology, the best education possible.

Here at The Academy, we are all committed to the empowerment of our students. We want them to achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential. In order to do this, we provide meaningful curriculum, excellence in instruction, and continuous communication between parents, teachers, and students.

We at The Academy welcome the involvement of the parents and guardians of our students as partners with us in the education of the young people of our community. Our focus, as a staff, is to help our students understand the value of hard work and the importance of its rewards.

William Somerset Maugham said it best:
